Conditions for collecting goods
This service is available 24 hours a day and lets you make a request
to have shipments collected quickly and automatically.
When the goods collection order is received, it will be sent as soon as possible to the local BRT branch which will activate the collection procedures which include:
For collections under item 2. BRT undertakes to contact the sender in advance to confirm:
The service is available for all BRT customers (with a contract) and for customers who want to make a shipment even without a contract. For the latter, there are two methods of shipment and payment:
When the goods collection order is received, it will be sent as soon as possible to the local BRT branch which will activate the collection procedures which include:
- Collections from the customer's agreed address can be requested before 12:30 for the afternoon of the same day, before 18:00 for the morning of the following day and at any time for subsequent dates.
- For customers requesting a collection from a different address from the agreed address and for customers without a password to access the on-line services, a request for collection the afternoon of the same day must be made before 11:00.
For collections under item 2. BRT undertakes to contact the sender in advance to confirm:
- the availability of the goods;
- the exact quantity and volume of the goods to collect;
- the address to collect the goods from.
The service is available for all BRT customers (with a contract) and for customers who want to make a shipment even without a contract. For the latter, there are two methods of shipment and payment:
- Payment by the sender: on receiving the collection request, the BRT branch will telephone the customer making the request to ask for confirmation of the collection request and will offer a transport price corresponding in cash to the collection job.
- Payment by the consignee: if the consignee is a BRT customer with a contract, the price of the shipment will be invoiced to him, whereas if the consignee is not a BRT customer the driver will ask the consignee to pay for the shipment in cash when the goods are delivered.
